It's here! A blog post, at last!! Amongst all the work we've being doing lately, me and Josh somehow found time to take a trip into the city this Saturday and snap some photos amongst our vintage shopping. I didn't manage to find much in the many thrift stores we visited, just a couple of denim summer items and a gorgeous little tweed skirt that I'll have to show you guys in a post soon.

I thought I'd use what little chance I have left of wearing my autumn/winter colours in this outfit before spring is here and we're all in florals! Which I can't wait for by the way. Spring is my favourite season of all, so expect lots of outfit posts on the beach and in the countryside! Oh, and tons of photos of flowers.

Thanks to Josh for being my 'photographer' for the day, and letting me take photos of him for this blog. I think this is his first appearance here, so say hi!

Oh Hey

Things have been really busy for me this week, which is why things are running pretty slow lately on the blog- sorry! I have a rather special date on Saturday evening which I have been stressing to the point of madness over, and I'm temporarily working five days a week which leaves very little time to blog. I can't wait 'til I have my time back!! Then I'll be a blog maniac!

I'm freaking over what new foundation to buy (that is so pathetic, I know!) and am currently torn between Chanel and Mac matte foundations. I have rather oily skin which is a pain, and I'm a tricky shade of brown which just makes buying skin make-up a disaster! If any of you have recommendations or tips on make-up and things, please let me know in your comments! I suck when it comes to makeup, I just have no clue!

Have a nice evening!

Into The Woods

Coat: My fathers, vintage | Sweater: D&G | Gloves: Dents | Boots: Ugg | Scarf: Monsoon

I didn't intend for this to be an outfit post. I mean, an oversized coat of my fathers and a pair of Ugg boots hardly qualifies as fashionable! But there was something so right about the combination of colours when we went out this morning- the green, red, brown and white are all so perfect together.

This is what I wear when I'm not in the mood to wear pretty dresses or tie ribbon in my hair. Today wasn't for any of that, it was for a nice stroll through the woods in the morning to admire the beauty of the snow and trees, and then a nice relaxing day in, drinking green tea and photoshopping all the nature photos I took on my little walk. We're having guests over for a Sunday roast now so I'll say my goodbyes! I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Velvet Bows

It has finally snowed here in England!!! I've been waiting since late November for snowfall and its arrived! Just in time for my eighteenth too. Could this weekend get any better?!

Me and my sister set out to the local park to snap a few photos and almost immediately after we left the house, huge flakes of snow started falling. As soon as we reached the park, everything was covered in white. Children were throwing snowballs at their parents, cold and dithering dog owners were walking their adorably furry, snow covered dogs... It was all just so pretty!

These are some of the bargains I got hold of in January: Topshop coat, soot-coloured tights, suede mary janes and a super cute polka dot satchel from Zatchel! I admit, even though it was in the sale it still cost a lot more than anyone would usually pay for a bag. But how could I resist?? It adds one healthy injection of cuteness to any outfit, for sure.

PS. You can favourite my look on Chictopia here, or hype it on Lookbook here!
